A seven-year-old girl drowned in the Tuguztemir River in Bashkortostan. On May 24, the press service of the republican State Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia informed about this.

"The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan received a message that a seven—year-old girl went under water in the village of Yamangulovo in the Kuyurgazinsky district in the Tuguztemir River," the department's Telegram channel says.

After receiving the message, rescuers immediately went to the place. As a result, the deceased child was found 100 m downstream.

In connection with the incident, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that children should not be left unattended near rivers. The agency also recommended telling the child about the dangers of being near bodies of water without adults.

Earlier, on March 19, it was reported that the bodies of an eight-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl were found in a pond in Shcherbinka. It is specified that no signs of violent death were found.
