A project on simplified application for business training has been launched for the participants of the SVO

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation launch a joint initiative: Participants in the special military operation will be able to apply for business skills training through the IFC, and a pilot project will be implemented in the Rostov region. Information about this appeared at the disposal of Izvestia on May 22.

Andrei Belousov, the head of the Ministry of Defense, noted that the process of processing documents necessary to receive benefits and social support measures should be simplified and automated for military personnel and their family members.

In turn, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Tatyana Ilyushnikova added that the My Business centers will be useful for veterans who want to start their own business.

"They receive support at the start, access to support measures and specialized programs. The new opportunity to apply for business training through the MFC will make the centers' services even more accessible and help more people learn about existing opportunities. The Rostov region has become a pilot region for launching the initiative, and if it is successfully implemented, we are ready to scale the practice to other regions," she shared.

Acting Governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar stressed that comprehensive support for military personnel and their families in the region, endowed with a special status, is of priority importance.

"There are more than 40 different initiatives for defenders who have returned to peaceful life, including free educational courses that allow them to master the necessary skills to start their own business. The purpose of the agreement is precisely to simplify access to such services through a wide network of MFCs," he said.

Among the initiatives are a fourfold increase in monthly payments and a reduction in the retirement age.

On May 19, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stressed that it was important for the Russian authorities to support ITS participants who decided to go into business. The Head of Government added that the veterans of their military have a high reputation in society and have the support of young people.
