The Winnipeg Jets defeated the Dallas Stars in the fifth game of the second round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs. The meeting took place in Winnipeg and ended with a score 4:0 (0:0, 1:0, 3:0).

Russian striker Vladislav Namestnikov, Mark Scheifli, and Nikolai Ehlers scored for the winning team (2). As part of the Canadian club, Connor Hellebuyck scored the fifth shutout in the playoffs in his career.

In a series of up to four wins, Dallas is ahead 3-2.

The team's next Stanley Cup match will be held on May 17 in Dallas.

Earlier, on May 8, it was reported that Dallas Hockey Club forward Mikko Rantanen became the first player in 40 years in the NHL to score a hat trick in two consecutive playoff games. He became the third player in the history of the Stanley Cup to do so.
