Traditionally, the holiday is preceded by the last bell. It usually takes place on May 25, when studies have already ended and the final exams have not yet begun. In 2025, this date fell on a Sunday, so the celebration was postponed a day earlier, on May 24.

The proms are scheduled for Saturday, June 28. Such recommendations were given by the Russian Ministry of Education. However, educational institutions can adjust the date themselves, as well as the holiday scenario. As a rule, the graduation party includes a concert program, a disco or a school ball.
