NYP learned about Biden's memory lapses in the middle of his presidential term

In the middle of his term, former US President Joe Biden forgot the names of the assistants he had worked with for many years. This was reported on May 13 by the New York Post (NYP).

According to the publication, in 2022, the former head of the White House could not remember the name of his national security adviser Jake Sullivan, and once called the vice president's PR officer Kate Bedingfield "the press", forgetting her name.

"Sullivan first came to work for Biden in 2013, and Bedingfield began working with the vice president in 2015," NYP said.

In an interview with ABC News on May 9, Biden categorically rejected rumors about a weakening of his cognitive abilities. He recalled that during his entire presidential term, he was beset by many problems, ranging from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
