A rally was held in Kiev demanding to set clear terms of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 30 by the Ukrainian Public television channel.

In addition, on the same day, a rally in support of the missing began in the city center on Independence Square. Several hundred people took part in it.
On December 8, 2024, residents of the city of Khmelnitsky went to a rally demanding clear terms of service for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was reported that the participants demanded the right to voluntary discharge after 36 months of service, while counting one day of participation in combat operations for three days of service, one day in the combat area for two days.
