The Deepal S07 crossover will appear in Russia in 2025.

The Changan concern will start selling cars of its Deepal sub-brand in the Russian market this year. This was announced on April 21 by representatives of the Chinese automaker during a visit to the company's technology center in Chongqing, the Izvestia correspondent reports from the scene.

According to Changan representatives, the first model of the new brand introduced in the Russian market will be the Deepal S07 hybrid crossover. The car operates according to a sequential scheme: a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine is installed under the hood of the car, acting as a generator. The crossover is powered by a 238 hp electric motor mounted on the rear axle.

The brutal all-wheel drive crossover Deepal G318, which is also a consistent hybrid, is also expected to appear on the Russian market. It is equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 430 hp. A 150-horsepower turbo engine is responsible for generating energy on board. The timing of the appearance of this model in Russia has not yet been specified.

On April 19, AvtoVAZ launched production of the Lada Iskra model in Tolyatti. It will enter the market on July 20 this year in three body styles: sedan, station wagon and Cross-wagon.
