Agroexpert Alexander Panchenko told us which Easter cake will be more expensive.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Tuesday, April 15, the specialist noted that the cake contains several ingredients, the prices of which are increasing. He explained that making cakes is a laborious business, and not every housewife wants to spend time baking.

"The price of counter-made and home-made cakes shows approximately the same growth dynamics in terms of cost. You can find it even cheaper in the store, but homemade cakes are definitely tastier," Panchenko said.

Earlier on April 15, nutritionist Daria Rusakova gave recommendations on the proper use of the cake. According to her, 150-200 grams of cake will be enough to celebrate Easter. The specialist explained that this delicacy has a high energy value, as it is a bakery product, generously enriched with high-calorie ingredients, notes 360.ru .

Also on April 15, endocrinologist Natalia Shvedova urged not to lean on cakes after fasting. According to her, excessive consumption of pastries with cream, icing and chocolate can be a test for the pancreas, RT notes.

At the same time, nutritionist Elena Solomatina advised to put applesauce in the cake to reduce the amount of sugar. According to her, Easter pastries themselves can be made from nut, chickpea, oatmeal, whole grain, buckwheat flour, or combined whole grain with more useful analogues, according to RIAMO.
