- The Foreign Minister announced the Czech Republic's ability to supply shells to the Armed Forces of Ukraine until September 2025.

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said that the Czech initiative to supply ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been funded until September this year. This was announced on April 3 by the STK agency.
"The Czech Ammunition initiative has managed to obtain additional financial resources from Canada, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands," Lipavsky said.
It is reported that last year the Czech Republic supplied about 1.5 million artillery shells of various calibers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to Lipavsky, the Czech Republic intends to supply Ukraine with 125,000 rounds of ammunition per month.
On March 27, Prime Minister of the Republic Petr Fiala announced that the Czech Republic plans to send Ukraine at least 1.5 million artillery shells in 2025.
On April 2, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that in the first quarter of 2025, the alliance countries allocated about €20 billion for military assistance to Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov drew attention to the fact that European countries do not want the conflict in Ukraine to end and demand "the continuation of the banquet."
