A criminal case has been opened after the murder of a man in the east of Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, April 2, by the press service of the capital's GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"According to investigators, on April 2, a man's body with signs of violent death in the form of a knife wound was found near an apartment building located on Novogireevskaya Street," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
Investigators and criminologists of the capital's Investigative Committee continue to work at the scene.
A criminal case has been opened into the murder on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
In Moscow on February 26, a 20-year-old young man hit a passenger who forbade him to go on the subway without a ticket. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Beatings"). The suspect was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave.
