Tim Cook says Apple is ready to contribute to U.S.-China relations

Apple Corporation is ready to contribute to the development of bilateral Sino-American relations. This was announced on March 23 by CEO Tim Cook during a meeting with Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

"I am glad to see that the Chinese government has put forward many significant measures to stimulate consumption. I am sure that they will contribute to development in many areas," CCPIT quoted Cook as saying on the WeChat social network.

It is reported that the entrepreneur also thanked the management of the organization for their support and assistance in international trade over the years.

"Apple is ready to contribute to the stable, healthy and sustainable development of Sino-American relations," he said.

Later, on March 24, US President Donald Trump thanked Apple for its record investments in the United States economy. According to a statement on Apple's website, the company plans to spend $500 billion over the next four years. It is stated that this is the largest investment commitment in the history of the corporation.
