Kuban Prosecutor's office began checking after dogs attacked teenagers

The Prosecutor's office of the Ust-Labinsk district of the Krasnodar Territory has put under control the progress and results of an investigation into the attack of a pack of dogs on three teenagers. This was announced on March 23 by the press service of the department in the Telegram channel.

It is reported that a day earlier, a group of children inspected a motocross track in Ust-Labinsk on Engels Street. There, a pack of aggressive dogs attacked teenagers and an 18-year-old boy. During the attack, the victims received bites from various parts of their bodies.

"As a result, 12- and 13-year-old teenagers and an 18—year-old boy were injured, they were hospitalized in the trauma department of the Central District Hospital," the prosecutor's office said.

It is specified that there is no threat to the lives of the victims.

Earlier, on March 19, an unattended dog attacked a girl on a playground in the Voronezh region. It is clarified that a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers"). Earlier, on March 16, Vladimir Burmatov, first deputy chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, told Izvestia that fines for dog walking would be increased to 50,000 rubles.
