A man who beat two schoolchildren with a chair was detained in Krasnoyarsk. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Main Investigative Directorate (GSO) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia on Saturday, March 22.

"According to the investigation, on March 19, 2025, a verbal conflict broke out between three fifth grade students from a school in the city of Krasnoyarsk, which escalated into a fight. The parents of minors were invited to the school on the same day for the trial," the press service of the department said.

In the office of a social psychologist, during a general conversation, the 46-year-old father of one of the children grabbed a chair and struck two other schoolchildren several times. As a result, both victims had head injuries.

The man was stopped by other parents, teachers and school guards who arrived at the scene.

"As a result of urgent investigative actions and operational measures carried out by investigators and criminologists of the regional Investigative Committee of Russia in cooperation with police officers, the suspect was identified in the city of Angarsk, Irkutsk region, and taken to Krasnoyarsk to carry out investigative actions with him," the press service noted.

The detainee is currently awaiting interrogation about the incident, and a preventive measure is being chosen for him. A case has been opened under the article on hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and an investigation is underway.
