The crew of the Mi-35M helicopter destroyed the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region

An army aviation crew on a Mi-35M helicopter destroyed manpower and armored vehicles of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the pilots were carrying out a combat mission to support units of the North group of forces. The crew destroyed the targets by delivering a targeted missile strike at the specified coordinates.

After the strike, the pilots performed anti-missile maneuvers at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps to prevent missiles from the enemy's man-portable air defense missile system. The aircraft gunner confirmed the destruction of targets.

"The task is to finally defeat the enemy in the Kursk region as soon as possible"

Putin, in military uniform, held a meeting at one of the command posts of this group of troops.

On March 16, the Russian Defense Ministry announced a strike by a Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces on a stronghold of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk border region. The ministry indicated that the targets were hit by aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC).
