Peskov pointed to Russia's willingness to cooperate with other countries on Syria.

Russia would like to see Syria a prosperous country and is ready to work together with other states to stabilize the situation in the republic. This was announced on March 11 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We are ready and are in contact with other countries on the Syrian issue," Peskov said in response to a question about whether Russia was ready for joint action to establish order in Syria with other countries.
