On the eve of Pancake Day, many people wonder whether it is possible to make the main treat of the holiday not only tasty, but also dietary. The recipe for such pancakes was shared by endocrinologist, nutritionist "SM-Clinica" Daria Haikina in a conversation with "Gazeta.Ru".

"In the dietary version, we change the composition, making the pancakes more saturated with protein and useful microelements, while reducing calories. This recipe does not require a large number of ingredients. The ingredients here are for about five or six pancakes. The recipe includes: two eggs; 100 ml of milk (or vegetable analog); two tablespoons of oat flour (you can grind oatmeal); one tablespoon of Greek yogurt; one teaspoon of vegetable oil; a pinch of salt and leavening agent; sweetener (optional), "- said the expert.

According to her, this option is much better suited for thinners, compared to the classic recipe for pancakes, the main ingredients of which are flour, milk, sugar and butter.

To prepare pancakes according to the recipe of a nutritiologist should whisk eggs together with milk and yogurt to a homogeneous mass. In the resulting mixture, add oat flour, salt and leavening agent, and then mix thoroughly.

Next, you need to heat up the frying pan, add a small amount of frying oil, and finally start frying pancakes until a golden crust appears on both sides.

"Is it possible to lose weight and eat pancakes? Yes! If you replace the flour, reduce the fat content and add protein, pancakes will become not only tasty, but also suitable for proper nutrition," - reported Daria Haikina.

On February 19, the study showed that Russians plan to save money in preparation for Pancake Day. More than half of respondents expect to spend from Br1 thousand to Br3 thousand on products for the festive table. Another 17% intend to spend less than Br1 thousand, 22% - are ready to spend from Br3 thousand to Br5 thousand, and 10% - more than Br5 thousand. At the same time, 39% of respondents plan to save money by choosing goods with discounts, while 27% rely on cashback services and loyalty programs.
