Media learned about Rheinmetall head wearing body armor for fear of assassination attempt

The head of the German arms concern Rheinmetall Armin Papperger began wearing a bulletproof vest for fear of an assassination attempt. This was reported by Focus magazine on February 7.

According to the material, Papperger when leaving the house puts on an armored vest weighing up to 5 kg instead of a tie. In addition, his security has been strengthened, he is also transported to business meetings accompanied by bodyguards in an armored car.

"I will be protected and guarded like a federal chancellor," he said at a press conference.
