The Interior Ministry has warned of a new fraud scheme on behalf of the ministry

Fraudsters have found a new way to deceive citizens - they create Internet resources and present themselves as the reception desk of the Russian Interior Ministry. This was reported by the official representative of the agency Irina Volk on February 7.

"Identified resources representing themselves as the Internet reception room of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and other departments of the Ministry. These resources offer to submit through them an appeal on the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia," she wrote in her Telegram-channel.

Fake online resources are designed to collect personal data of users, Volk noted.

She recalled that the Russian Interior Ministry does not accept appeals through messengers and social networks, and you can submit them electronically only on the official website of the agency.
