In Rome, police officers have arrested a Ukrainian who attacked local residents. This was reported by Roma Daily News on February 7.
It is noted that the 47-year-old man put on rags and leaves and terrorized people, attacking them in the evening and night hours. In this regard, people had to look for other routes in order not to face the "tree man", so he was nicknamed by locals.
In addition, the materials added that the man has already been repeatedly prosecuted for carrying weapons, causing bodily harm and resistance to an official. It is specified that in June 2024 he attacked a woman and her daughter with a wooden stick, threatening to kill them. A month later he damaged several passenger cars and when law enforcement arrived on the scene he attacked them with a broken bottle.
"From today, the 47-year-old Ukrainian is under special surveillance and will no longer be able to stay on the territory of the municipality of Rome", - stated in the publication.
Earlier, on January 28, it was reported that a man with a knife wounded a man and three women in the Polish town of Olkusz. The attack took place in a local supermarket. The 23-year-old attacker wounded four people, later he was detained.
