US President Donald Trump has decided to review the funding of all non-profit organizations (NPOs) that depend on federal funds. This was reported by Reuters on February 6, citing a White House spokesman.

"Trump on Thursday signed a memo ordering a review of funding for all non-governmental organizations that depend on federal funds, a White House spokesman said," the agency informed.

Earlier in the day, it became known that the administration of President Trump intends to fire thousands of employees of the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington.

On the same day, more than 60 thousand federal officials of America have already accepted the proposal of US President Trump on voluntary dismissal with payment of benefits, despite the deadline. At the same time it became known that the court in the United States temporarily blocked Trump's initiative on layoffs with compensation.

On January 30, CBS News reported that the Trump administration has demanded that some high-ranking members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) submit their resignations or retire. In case the demand is not fulfilled, the officials will be forcibly dismissed, specified the interlocutors of the publication.

Before that, on January 28, it was reported that the US Department of Justice fired more than a dozen employees involved in cases against US President Donald Trump. The dismissal of employees who worked in the team of special prosecutor Jack Smith is in line with "the administration's determination to purge the government of employees it considers disloyal to the President".
