Hockey club Lokomotiv Yaroslavl defeated Dynamo Minsk in the regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and became the first participant of the tournament playoffs. The meeting ended with a score of 2:0.

Byron Frese (54th minute) and Martin Gernat (60th minute) scored pucks.

Hockey players of the Yaroslavl club guaranteed themselves participation in the playoffs, having scored 82 points and taking the 1st place in the Western Conference and the general table of the KHL.
