The court arrested Ekaterina Tarkhov, granddaughter of the former mayor of Samara Viktor Tarkhov, for two months on suspicion of murder. This was reported to "Izvestia" in court on February 6.
The measure of restraint was elected on February 5.
"A criminal case has been instituted on the indications of corpus delicti, provided by p. "a" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two persons"). At present, the granddaughter of the former mayor is being checked for involvement in the commission of the crime," - specified in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The investigation establishes all the circumstances of the incident.
The day before it was reported that the ex-mayor of Samara and his wife were found shot dead. The granddaughter of the spouses was suspected in the crime. After the spouses stopped contacting each other, their acquaintance filed a missing persons report with the police. In this case, the granddaughter of the murdered during this month from the phones of Victor and Natalia sent SMS-messages. In addition, using forged documents, she began to sell the property of her grandparents.
Later, on February 6, it became known that Tarkhov's daughter Lyudmila received seven years in 2022 in a general regime colony for extortion on a large scale. It was specified that the accused together with an accomplice tried to extort 200 million rubles from the deputy of the Samara Gubernaya Duma of the VI convocation Alexander Mileyev. Trying to achieve the goal, Lyudmila collected "kompromat" and blackmailed the deputy with it.
Viktor Tarkhov was the mayor of Samara from 2006 to 2010.
