Metropolitan store owners send humanitarian aid to Kursk region

The Kursk region receives significant humanitarian aid from Moscow shopkeepers. This is reported on February 5 on the official portal of the mayor and government of the capital.

It is noted that entrepreneurs from Moscow purchase for the residents of Kursk region long-life food, water, disposable dishes, personal hygiene products, medicines, clothes, bedding and other necessary goods.

As follows from the publication, the largest volume of humanitarian cargoes came from the districts of the Northern Administrative District (NAO) of the capital. Stores and supermarkets sent food, household chemicals, hygiene products, as well as clothes for children and adults.

It is specified that among the food collected by entrepreneurs from SAO was buckwheat, pasta, millet, flour, vegetable oil, stew, condensed milk, cookies and candy, tea and instant coffee and other food products.

Earlier, on January 29, it was reported that students and employees of the National Research University MIET collected more than 150 kg of humanitarian aid for the participants of the special military operation.

Ukrainian troops attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
