Two U.S. Air Force F-35 fighter jets made an emergency landing at the airport in the Japanese city of Matsuyama in Ehime Prefecture. This was reported on February 5 by the portal Ehime Online.

It is specified that the planes made an emergency landing due to lack of fuel.

As a result, a civilian flight from Osaka had to wait for its landing for 13 minutes.

Earlier, on October 10, 2024, a US Air Force helicopter made an emergency landing in Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan.
