The Nikitovsky district of Horlivka was attacked by AFU drones twice in 24 hours
Ukrainian kamikaze drones have twice attacked the Nikitovskyy district of the city of Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported on January 31 by the department of the administration of the DNR head and government for documenting Ukraine's war crimes.
According to the data presented in the department's Telegram channel, the first unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) arrived at 8:30. The second kamikaze drone attacked the same area around 12:00.
"As a result of a drone attack by Ukrainian terrorists in the village of Golmovsky, equipment of one of the municipal enterprises of the city was damaged. Fortunately, without casualties," Gorlovka mayor Ivan Prikhodko pointed out in his Telegram channel.
Earlier in the day, Prikhodko reported that 10 civilians were injured as a result of shelling of Horlivka by the AFU. The mayor specified that two people were wounded on the territory of the hospital town. In addition, a bus in the center of Horlivka was damaged as a result of the AFU attack with cluster shells.
Prior to that, on January 27, the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin said that four residents of Horlivka were injured during the AFU shelling. All four victims received the necessary medical care.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces shell the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the backdrop of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
