CNN reported the recovery of airplane flight recorders from a river near Washington, D.C.

One of the flight recorders (black boxes) of the crashed passenger plane has been recovered from the Potomac River near Washington. This was reported by CNN on January 30 with reference to the office of Washington State Senator Maria Cantwell.

"One of the flight data recorders, known as black boxes, from flight CRJ 700, which collided with a military helicopter on approach to Reagan National Airport, has been recovered from the Potomac River," the publication said.
