PMR president talks about Russia's help in resolving gas crisis
Russia is doing everything possible to resolve the gas crisis in Transnistria, the president of the unrecognized republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky, said in an exclusive interview with Izvestia.
"I have already said that Russia has given us a loan, thanks to which we will be able to pay for gas. At the same time, Russia does not impose any formulas on who to buy gas from. They listen to us and welcome our decision. Russia is doing everything possible to make it all happen," he said.
Earlier, Krasnoselsky paid a visit to Russia.
"I met with officials of the Energy Ministry where we were offered options. We also offered our own. I saw sincere interest on the part of the department's representatives, for which I thanked them and now I am also thanking them," he added.
