Russian fighters have received a new heavy tactical FPV drone "Ilya Muromets". Its main advantage is its flexible frequency tuning, which helps bypass foreign REB systems. And the 8 kg payload allows to deliver medicines, ammunition and water to fighters operating in the hottest spots on the front line. Oleg Fedorov, general director of the FROBOTICS development company, told Izvestia.

Experts confirmed that there is now a need for such drones, as there is a problem with the delivery of supplies to the forward positions due to the active counteraction of the AFU.

"15 km seems to be not much, but it will be enough to work between the nearest rear and the front line. And the payload capacity of 8 kilograms allows you to throw over, for example, medicines, documents. In extreme situations, in particular, in the encirclement can be transferred water, food, ammunition in small quantities," - told "Izvestia" military expert Dmitry Kornev.

The UAV is small in size, so it will not become a visible target for the enemy, military expert Yuri Lyamin explained to Izvestia. But it may be needed during assault operations, in particular, when a group is entrenched, but it is difficult to get through to it and deliver ammunition and water.

The drone has eight motors, which increases flight stability and gives a power reserve. The device is made 100% from Russian components.
