The demand for "izbing" and "dereving" - vacations in small towns, which allows you to feel "like in the village at your grandmother's", has grown among Russians. This follows from the results of the analysts of YuMoneu wallet and online housing reservation service "Sutno.ru", which were read by "Izvestia" on January 31.

According to experts, over the past year, 39% of surveyed Russians have discovered the possibilities of artificial intelligence - they began to use it more often to search for information, take interest in virtual tours and excursions. At the same time, 21% liked "izbing" and "dereving". The same number (21%) started going to retreats and practicing meditation. In addition, 10% of respondents learned about gastrotours and discovered immersive dinners, and 7% traveled to other cities and countries to participate in races and marathons. Russians surveyed also recognized astro- and yoga tours.

According to UKassa (a service for online and offline payments by fintech company YuMoney), the travel services segment grew in 2024: the total turnover of hotels increased by 51% compared to 2023, travel agencies - by 66%.

"We are seeing a rethinking of the vacation format and a shift of interest towards outdoor activities. Residents of big cities are tired of the hustle and bustle and digital noise, they want fresh air, silence and natural products. This provides interest in recreation in villages, small towns and in nature. Such recreation is becoming more conscious and organized, people are ready to invest in quality leisure", - said Irina Polyakova, head of corporate client support service of UMoneu, specifying that the demand of Russians for goods for sports and tourism has increased.

According to the service "Sutno.ru", for the last year the number of bookings of houses and huts in villages has increased by 30%. The greatest demand are the settlements of the Golden Ring, Tula, Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions, as well as villages near Plyos, Suzdal, Rybinsk and Smolensk. In addition, villages and hamlets in the Krasnodar region, Astrakhan region, North Caucasus, Altai and Karelia are popular.

"City dwellers are increasingly preferring authentic huts and houses "like at grandma's cottage" to campgrounds and cottages. Many people go on vacation in pairs and with children. This format of vacation helps to relax in nature and feel like in childhood. In addition, it is relatively inexpensive: you can leave your city in the nearest village, rent a small house for the weekend and spend from five to seven thousand rubles," - said the service.

In Russia as a whole, the average cost of small houses and huts is about 3,000 rubles per day. In the Moscow region rent costs 5 300 rubles, in the Leningrad region - 4 500 rubles, in the Tula region - 2 500 rubles, in the Yaroslavl region - 2 900 rubles. In the area of Plyos the price is 3,500 rubles, near Suzdal and Rybinsk - 3,600 rubles and 4,000 rubles, respectively. In Krasnodar Krai, the average price is Br3.100, in Astrakhan region - Br2.500, in the North Caucasus - Br3.100, in Altai - Br3.200, in Karelia - Br3.400.

Earlier, January 14, it was reported that more tourists plan to travel across the country in February. This follows from the data of OneTwoTrip. Thus, the share of hotel bookings in Russia for the year increased by 8% and is 43%. Moscow, Esto-Sadok, St. Petersburg became the most popular cities for tourists.
