Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the advance of the joint troops of Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), as well as see a map of military operations for January 27 in the Izvestiya piece.

It is noted that units of the "Center" troop group continued advancing deep into the enemy's defense, units of the "Southern" troop group occupied more advantageous lines and positions, and units of the "West" troop group improved their tactical position.

"As a result of decisive actions of the units of the "East" group of troops, the settlement of Velyka Novoselka of the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated," the agency noted.

Also, operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of the groups of troops of the Russian Armed Forces defeated the infrastructure of military airfields, production workshops and storage depots of unmanned aerial vehicles, fuel base of the AFU, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in 149 areas.

In total, 652 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 41,571 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,858 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,510 multiple rocket launchers, 21,010 field artillery and mortars, 30,830 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
