Ukrainian media reported explosions in Zhytomyr region

In Zhytomyr region recorded a number of explosions against the background of the air alert. About it on Sunday, January 26, reported the Ukrainian TV channel TSN.

"Zhytomyr region - explosions," - said in a message in the Telegram channel, published at 5:58 (6:58 Moscow time).

As follows from the data of the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the air alert was announced in Zhytomyr and Khmelnitsky regions.

Earlier, on January 18, explosions went off in Kiev amid the air alert. According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the air alert was declared in Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions.

Russian forces began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine in October 2022. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was in response to terrorist actions by the Kiev regime.
