Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the advance of the joint troops of Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), as well as see a map of military operations for January 25 in the Izvestiya piece.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian troops hit the infrastructure of military airfields, storage facilities for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and places where they are prepared for combat use, as well as accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in 132 areas.

The units of the "West" group of forces took more favorable lines and positions. The AFU lost more than 400 servicemen, five armored combat vehicles, including two M113 armored personnel carriers, seven vehicles, five field artillery guns, including two produced by NATO countries. An electronic warfare station was also destroyed.

Also, the soldiers of the "Center" group of forces took more advantageous lines and positions and defeated the enemy's three mechanized and motorized infantry brigades, two brigades of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the National Police.

In addition, air defense assets shot down three shells of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) and 44 aircraft-type drones.

A total of 652 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 41,439 UAVs, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,843 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,510 MLRS combat vehicles, 20,930 field artillery and mortars, and 3,076 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
