UAV calculations in the SSE zone made it possible to destroy an AFU mortar crew
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Southern Group of Forces regularly destroy equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the zone of the special military operation (SMO). This was reported in the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday, January 25.
In the Kurakhov direction, a reconnaissance UAV detected an enemy mortar unit and transmitted the coordinates to the headquarters. Soon the AFU's mortar was successfully eliminated by Russian artillery. To the west of Kurakhovo, the Russian Armed Forces' FPV drones encountered a Ukrainian personnel shelter, which was instantly destroyed. South of the same locality, an operator of a Fagot anti-tank missile system (ATMS) eliminated an enemy M-ATV armored vehicle.
Drones are also successfully coping with combat tasks in the northern direction. Near Grigorovka, the rotation of Ukrainian personnel was disrupted. Russian servicemen destroyed an HMMWV multi-purpose wheeled cross-country vehicle and an AFU pickup truck.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Supercam UAV calculations of the All-Union Army of the Army Group "West" uncovered camouflaged military equipment and temporary deployment points of AFU units in the SSO zone.
Prior to that, on January 24, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that calculations of migratory guns of artillery paratroopers from Ulan-Ude hit a stronghold with an AFU infantry unit in the border areas of Kursk Region, which was detected by Russian reconnaissance using UAVs in one of the occupied settlements.
