An expert has given tips on how to get rid of flabby hands
It is important to understand the cause of flabbiness, weakness, saggy skin on the hands. Sometimes it can be overweight or, on the contrary, rather thin build, but there is flabbiness in the arms. Akulina Bakhturina, senior trainer of the international network of ballet and stretching studios LEVITA, told Izvestia on January 26.
"If a person is overweight, then a lifestyle adjustment is necessary. And the emphasis here will be not so much on getting rid of flabby arms, but in general on bringing the body into a better tone. The arms will be a pleasant addition to the overall improvement of the quality of the body," explained Bakhturina.
According to her, for people who are not overweight but have the problem of flabby arms, I recommend focusing on strengthening this muscle group. Special exercises for beautiful arms should be included in your training plan and performed along with complex exercises. You can also shift the focus to the arms in any physical activity: charging, warming up, walking.
According to the specialist, the triceps is the extensor muscle of the posterior group of the shoulder. It is on these muscles that people with sagging, flabby arms most often complain, so they should be worked out. You can perform any variations of the French press with dumbbells or a light barbell.
"Few people know that holding your arms in ballet positions is a great exercise that allows you to achieve graceful, slim and taut arms. Unlike exercises with additional weights, there is no risk of overpumping and noticeably increase the width of the arms," said Bakhturina.
The expert also advised to stretch the arms to the sides and perform various rotations forward, in the opposite direction. It is important to keep your arms in the weight for a minute or more. You can do scrolling: the palm looks at the floor, scroll, the palm looks at the ceiling and back. The exercise not only works the triceps, but also strengthens the shoulders well.
"You can tighten the arm muscles without special long training in the gym. It is enough to shift the focus on the arms during morning exercises or lunchtime warm-up in the office," summarized Bakhturina.
