11 people remain in hospital after a road accident in the Volgograd region

After the accident with a school bus in the Volgograd region, 11 people, including 10 children, remain in hospitals, one of the patients is in serious condition. This was reported on January 24 in the press service of the administration of the region.

"According to the information of the regional working group and the regional health Committee, at the moment 11 victims of the accident in the Oktyabrsky district are on treatment. In the Volgograd hospital number 7 medical care is received by 10 children, one adult continues treatment in hospital number 15", - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the condition of eight people is estimated as average, two - as a light degree of severity.

Theaccident with a school bus and a passenger car occurred on the highway Volgograd - Kotelnikovo - Salsk on January 23. One child was killed. A criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of a person by negligence").

On January 23, the presidential commissioner for children's rights Maria Lvova-Belova reported that two children, who had been injured in an accident with a school bus in Volgograd region, were in serious condition.
