Temporary flight restrictions have been lifted at airports in Penza, Saratov and Ulyanovsk

Flight restrictions for civilian airplanes have been canceled at the airports of Penza, Saratov and Ulyanovsk. This was reported on Friday, January 24, by Rosaviatsia spokesman Artem Korenyako.

"At the airports of Penza, Saratov (Gagarin) and Ulyanovsk (Barataevka) at 07:37 Moscow time, restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The measures were introduced to ensure the safety of civilian flights, recalled the representative of the agency. Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services have taken all necessary measures.

Temporary restrictions at the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Penza, Saratov, Samara and Ulyanovsk were introduced around 5:00 Moscow time. Before that, they were also in effect at Moscow airports. In addition, after 7:00 Moscow time, similar measures were announced at Ufa airport.
