The deputy of Belarus told about the mood in society before the elections
The domestic political situation in the republic is radically different from the situation in 2020, Alexander Shpakovsky, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the republic and a member of the Standing Committee on International Affairs, told Izvestia.
"It is more the quality of information and awareness-raising work on the part of the state, as well as the citizens' realization of the value of stable sovereign peaceful development in contrast to the events taking place in Ukraine. And in general, according to our observations, both political and information culture of the Belarusian society has grown significantly," he says.
Thus, the entire state system of Belarus is prepared for a calm election in accordance with the national legislation, emphasized the deputy.
Presidential elections in the republic will be held on January 26.
