The parliamentarian criticized the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games, insufficient preparation of the Seine River for the performance of athletes in water sports, as well as the conditions of accommodation of the athletes themselves in the Olympic Village.
The closing ceremony took place on August 12 and was concluded to the song My Way by American Frank Sinatra. At the end of the ceremony, the Olympic flag was handed over to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass as a sign that the next Summer Olympics will be held in 2028 in Los Angeles, USA.
The Paris Olympics took place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Fifteen athletes from Russia competed in neutral status in five sports.
