Russian actor Yura Borisov shared on January 23 his impressions of his Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor in the film "Anora".
"There are a lot of emotions. People are calling and texting me and everyone is happy. I can't understand how I feel right now," he said in an interview with Variety.
Borisov revealed that he found out about his nomination while in the car. He added that when his name was called out, his wife started screaming and crying.
The actor also said that he contacted his colleague Mikey Madison, and they congratulated each other on the nominations they received. It is noted that Madison was nominated in the Best Actress category.
Earlier in the day it became known that Yura Borisov was nominated for the American film award "Oscar" in the category "Best Supporting Actor" for the movie "Anora". The movie will also claim the statuette in the category "Best Original Screenplay".
