The largest amount of rent students are ready to pay for two-bedroom apartments. According to analysts, they are rented by 10.8% of students, while the average cost of such an apartment is about Br80 thousand.

Two-room apartments are ready to rent 16.9% of students. The monthly payment will amount to Br59.3 thousand per month. One-room apartments became the most popular type of apartments rented by students. Almost 39% rent them. The average monthly payment for one-room apartments rented by non-working students is Br50 thousand, while employed students - Br48.9 thousand.

The share of employed students, who rent studios - 21%, the average monthly payment for housing in this category of students - Br46.4 thousand. However, the average cost of apartments of all types of rooms rented by working and non-working students is about Br58 thousand. The vast majority of students rent an apartment not alone, but with a young man or girl (48.2%), a friend or girlfriend (14.3%), spouse (8.5%) and share the monthly payment.

On January 23, it was reported that in the fourth quarter of 2024, the demand for long-term rentals increased by 9% year-on-year on average. This is stated in the research results of the platform "Avito Real Estate". According to the study, compared to the period of 2023, Russians became more interested in studios (+13%), three-room apartments (+12%), objects with four rooms and more (+10%), two-bedroom (+7%) and one-bedroom (+6%).
