Patrushev named Tatarstan the country's leader in investment climate

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev noted the region's developed economy during a meeting with Tatarstan's head Rustam Minnikhanov on January 23.

"The Republic of Tatarstan is a region with a very developed economy and with a very, most importantly, great potential for further growth," Patrushev said.

He added that the region is implementing extremely large-scale investment projects in all sectors of the economy.

According to the deputy prime minister, the republic shows positive investment dynamics in 2024.

"You are the leader in the country in terms of investment climate, and, of course, this is your merit. And what you are doing, it allows the republic to develop like this," Patrushev said, addressing Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan is also a leader in the development of the agro-industrial complex (AIC), the Russian Deputy Prime Minister emphasized. "You are among the top-5 subjects of our country in terms of agro-industrial development. In 2024, your agricultural production index has grown by more than 10%," he pointed out.

On the eve Patrushev said at the XVI Congress of the Union of Milk Producers in Moscow that in 2024 more than 80 billion rubles were allocated to the dairy industry. He emphasized that this sphere has the widest scope of state support.
