In Kolpino district of St. Petersburg unknown persons broke into the room of a teenager, robbed him, kidnapped and beat him. This was reported by the source of "Izvestia" on January 23.

The incident occurred in the evening of January 21. According to the interlocutor, three unknown masked men broke into the room of a communal apartment in the house on Zavodsky proezd. The attackers took away a 17-year-old girl's smartphone, after which they forcibly took the 15-year-old young man outside, put him in a car and also took away the phone.

"They drove him to unknown places, demanded the return of money for allegedly previously purchased from the young man bank cards, gave one blow with a hand to the chest, then at 4:00 they dropped him off near the Farforovskaya railway station in Nevsky district," the source said.

In a conversation with "Izvestia" the father of the young man said that his son did not know the attackers. Presumably, the young man was taken to the quarries in Toksovo. Now the teenager is at home.

"The whole problem is that juveniles are given passports, and they now have the right to bank credit cards on themselves. They draw up and then sell to unknown people who use these cards. <...> I know I got into a bad situation," said the father of the young man.

Earlier, on January 17, law enforcement officers detained those accused of kidnapping a man in the east of Moscow. The incident occurred on January 9. Not far from the shopping center on Montazhnaya Street, the accused called a man to get into the car to talk, but eventually started moving and began threatening with a knife, taking 77 thousand rubles from the victim.

Later, the defendants took the man to a dacha plot and demanded 1 million rubles for his release. As a result, he was released after the transfer of 300 thousand rubles. A criminal case on kidnapping (part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), robbery (part 2 of article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and extortion (part 2 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was initiated.
