A critical situation is observed in the part of Zaporizhzhya Region controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Kiev-appointed head of the regional state administration (RSA), Ivan Fyodorov, on January 23.

"At the moment the situation is quite critical," he said on the air of a national telethon.

According to Fedorov, more than 20 thousand subscribers were left without light. Also, more than 17 thousand people have no heat supply.

In the morning of January 23, Fedorov reported in his Telegram channel about damage to infrastructure in the city. During the night in the region several times announced an air alert.
