Rosgvardia special forces destroyed an AFU ABP in Chernihiv region

Rosgvardiya special forces have destroyed a temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Chernihiv region. This was reported by the press service of the agency on Thursday, January 23.

The occupied by the enemy settlement in the region was detected by operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It was taken under surveillance, during which several dozen fighters and electronic warfare (EW) systems were identified.

"The point of temporary dislocation of the AFU was destroyed with the use of fiber-optic UAVs," - stated in the message of the Department.

The day before it was reported that the operator of the Rosgvardiya UAV destroyed a tank of the AFU in the Kursk region. It was specified that the strike on the enemy combat vehicle was made in the course of a skirmish with the AFU.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian President on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
