Russian military FPV drone destroyed AFU communication station in Pokrovsk direction
The Russian military has hit a communication station of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the FPV drone of the Rubicon center in the area of the special operation in the Pokrovskyy district. Images of the operation were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 23.
"The object was detected by the reconnaissance units of the Test Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies of the Russian Defense Ministry "Rubicon", - specified in the department.
Data on the target was promptly transferred to strike means, after which, despite the opposition of electronic warfare systems (REB), the FPV drone's calculation accurately hit the target, hitting the enemy's communication facility.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Fagot anti-tank missile system (ATMS) of the Dnipro group of troops hit an observation post of Ukrainian formations on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. The unit's crew promptly moved to a firing position, launched a guided missile and hit the target with an accurate hit.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
