Samsung has unveiled a new flagship series of smartphones
Electronics manufacturer Samsung held the first Galaxy Unpacked presentation in 2025. It presented three new products at once - the flagship Galaxy S25 series of smartphones, the second generation of the Galaxy Ring smart ring and the Galaxy AR mixed reality helmet.
Three smartphones of the flagship lineup were unveiled at the event: the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The gadgets are equipped with a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Among the cameras, the changes affected only the Galaxy S25 Ultra model, it received an updated 200MP main module with an aperture of f/1.7 and a focal length of 23.2mm. The maximum resolution of the sensor will be 4080x3060, as well as a lens with five times optical zoom.
Another new product is the Galaxy XR helmet with Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 processor. The headset is similar to Apple's Vision Pro, promises support for Galaxy AI functionality and compatibility with most Android apps.
The final element of the presentation was the second generation of Galaxy Ring 2 with significant improvements. It received an NFC module with support for Samsung Pay, smart keys for smart doors and cars, as well as longer battery life and a thinner body compared to last year's counterpart.
