A delegation of the Mongolian People's Party will arrive in Moscow for talks with the United Russia party (ER) in February 2025, Secretary of the ER General Council Vladimir Yakushev told Izvestia. The parties will discuss inter-party cooperation.

"We continue to increase cooperation along the party line. In February we are waiting for a Mongolian delegation, we will discuss inter-party cooperation with them. The action plan is serious," he said.

He noted that during a visit to the People's Republic of China in December 2024, they discussed cooperation between the Communist Youth Union of China and the United Russia Young Guard.

United Russia in 2025 also intends to hold consultations with representatives of the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Cambodian People's Party, the National Liberation Front (Algeria), the Prosperity Party (Ethiopia) and the Justice and Development Party(Turkey).

The party will continue to work with partner parties from CIS countries, in particular with the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan and the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.

Last October, Russian Ambassador Alexei Evsikov said that Russia and Mongolia could sign an agreement in the first half of 2025 on the construction of a low-capacity nuclear power plant in a promising region near New Karakorum, the new capital of the country.
