The former deputy head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kirov region, who is suspected of bribery and abuse of power, has been taken into custody. This was reported on January 22 in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the region.

"The former police officer accused of taking a bribe and exceeding official powers, a measure of restraint in the form of detention," - said in the Telegram-channel of the agency.
