Moscow City Court sentences Russian Shatresov to 17 years in prison for state treason

Moscow City Court has sentenced Russian Dmitry Shatresov, who is accused of treason, to 17 years in prison. This was reported on January 22 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow.

It is specified that the man will serve his sentence in a strict regime colony.

"Moscow city court found Dmitry Arkadyevich Shatresov guilty of committing a crime under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and imposed a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 17 years with serving the sentence in a penal colony of strict regime, with a fine, with restriction of freedom for a period of one year", - stated in the Telegram-channel.

Earlier, on January 26, 2024, Meshchansky court of Moscow arrested Shatresov in the case of confidential cooperation with a foreign state or organization. Details of the case were not disclosed.
