Tour operators refute data on mass illnesses of Russians in Thailand
Tour operators deny reports of mass illnesses of Russian tourists in Thailand, as they have not received complaints from their clients. This was reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on Wednesday, January 22.
"Tour operators do not confirm reports of mass illnesses of tourists in Thailand. ATOR member tour companies leading Thailand destinations have not received any signals or health complaints from tourists, as well as the receiving party - Thai tour companies," TASS quoted the report as saying.
According to the insurance company "Euroins", in recent weeks in Thailand there were only a few visits to doctors with flu and acute respiratory viral infections, no one was hospitalized, and this statistics does not differ from last year. ATOR emphasized that all Russian tourists are insured and can receive medical care abroad.
Earlier in Telegram-channels there was information that Russian tourists are massively ill with bird flu in the resorts of Thailand, especially in Phuket and Phangan. It was specified that there are a lot of sick people among Russians, and on average their fever lasts about a week.
